Terms of Service

Last Updated: October 24, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Zinder website, platform, and related services operated by Zinder Service LLC, doing business as Zinder.

By accessing or using Zinder, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

1. What Zinder Does

Zinder is an online marketplace that connects customers with independent automotive service providers.

Zinder does not directly provide automotive repair, maintenance, detailing, towing, or other automotive services. Providers listed on Zinder are independent third parties and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Zinder.

2. User Accounts

To use certain features, users may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login information secure
  • Updating your account information
  • All activity under your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use Zinder.

Zinder may suspend or delete accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate service request details
  • Provide correct vehicle and location information
  • Communicate respectfully with providers
  • Not misuse the platform
  • Not submit fake, misleading, abusive, or fraudulent requests

Customers understand that estimated pricing shown on Zinder may not be the final price. Providers may provide a final quote after reviewing the request details. Providers must get the customer's approval before charging more than their quote.

4. Provider Responsibilities

Providers agree to:

  • Provide real and accurate business information
  • Keep service descriptions and estimated prices accurate
  • Perform work professionally and cleanly
  • Communicate honestly with customers
  • Follow applicable laws and industry standards
  • Maintain any licenses, insurance, or certifications required by law for their work
  • Not misrepresent their qualifications, experience, or services

A license is not always required to create a provider profile, but providers who submit valid license or certification information may receive a certification or verification badge on their profile.

5. Platform Bypass Policy

Providers may not use customer information received through a Zinder lead to avoid the fee for that lead. This does not stop anyone from doing business with customers found outside Zinder.

If Zinder determines that a provider is attempting to bypass the platform, Zinder may:

  • Suspend the provider account
  • Remove provider listings
  • Restrict access to leads
  • Terminate the account

6. Provider Reviews and Suspension

Zinder may suspend or review provider accounts based on poor performance, repeated complaints, suspicious activity, or low ratings.

Zinder may review or suspend a provider after repeated low ratings or complaints.

7. Payments and Lead Fees

Car owners use Zinder for free. Providers pay a lead fee, currently $30 per accepted lead, shown before acceptance and described on the Provider Pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe. Zinder gives at least 30 days' email notice before changing fees.

8. Refunds

Refunds follow the Zinder Refund Policy.

9. No Guarantee of Results

Zinder does not guarantee:

  • That customers will receive a specific result
  • That providers will receive a specific number of leads
  • That a provider will accept every request
  • That a customer will hire a provider
  • That service pricing will remain exactly the same as the estimate

Zinder provides a marketplace connection tool only.

10. Disputes Between Customers and Providers

Zinder is only a marketplace platform. Zinder does not judge or decide disputes between customers and providers.

Customers and providers are responsible for resolving issues directly with each other. Zinder may provide basic support or account-related assistance but is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, timing, or outcome of services performed by providers.

11. Prohibited Use

Users may not:

  • Use false information
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse others
  • Upload illegal, harmful, or misleading content
  • Attempt to hack or disrupt the platform
  • Use Zinder for fraud or spam
  • Copy, scrape, or misuse platform data
  • Bypass platform fees or lead fees

11A. Reviews and Content

By posting reviews, photos, or other content, you allow Zinder to display it on the platform. Reviews must reflect a real service experience. Zinder may remove fake, paid, or abusive reviews.

11B. Verification Badge

A “Verified” badge means Zinder checked the provider's ID, phone number, and Texas business registration. It is not a guarantee of licensing, insurance, or work quality.

12. Intellectual Property

All Zinder branding, website content, logos, platform design, text, and software are owned by Zinder Service LLC or its licensors.

Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use Zinder intellectual property without written permission.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Zinder Service LLC is not liable for:

  • Provider work quality
  • Service delays
  • Property damage caused by providers
  • Customer disputes
  • Lost profits
  • Indirect damages
  • Errors or interruptions in the platform

Users use the platform at their own risk.

Zinder's total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid Zinder in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.

13A. User Indemnity

You agree to cover Zinder's losses and legal costs caused by your misuse of the platform or violation of these Terms.

14. Account Suspension or Termination

Zinder may suspend, restrict, or terminate any account if we believe the user or provider has violated these Terms, created risk for the platform, or engaged in fraudulent or harmful activity.

15. Changes to the Platform

Zinder may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time.

We'll post changes here and email registered users about material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Any legal claim or dispute related to these Terms or the use of Zinder will be handled in Travis County, Texas, unless otherwise required by law.

17. Beta Promotion Terms

  1. Offer. Providers whose account is approved during the Zinder beta receive free leads (no $30 fee) for 3 months from their approval date.
  2. Beta program end. The beta program accepts new providers until [Insert Date]. Providers approved after that date pay standard pricing from day one.
  3. After the free period. Standard pricing ($30 per accepted lead) starts automatically. We'll email you at least 14 days before your free period ends. You can stop accepting leads or close your account at any time before then at no charge.
  4. Card on file. A valid card is required at signup but is not charged during the free period.
  5. Limits. One beta offer per business. Duplicate accounts, fake leads, or abuse end the offer and may end the account.
  6. No cash value. Free leads can't be exchanged for money, credits, or transferred.
  7. Changes. Zinder may end the beta program for new signups early, but will honor the full 3 months for providers already approved.
